Balagael/Argalos/Argael/Sara
A spirit that became the first nephalem after being banished from Heaven. Balagael possesses a personality that seems cruel and sadistic on the surface, but in its depths is actually full of regret and sadness. In the beginning, during Lucifer's betrayal against God, Balagael was among the spirits swayed into rebelling against their creator because It thought it would be fun. However, when Lucifer started losing ground in the rebellion Balagael bore witness to Lucifer's TRUE nature and disliked what It saw while also growing bored with being on the losing side. So, It surrendered to God before the others were defeated and cast out with the traitor. As a result, Balagael's punishment was less severe: It was still cast out of heaven, but wasn't sent to Hell either, instead exiled to Earth forever, becoming a divine spirit fallen partway into demonhood (half fallen angel, half demon). As a spiritual being, Balagael takes on whatever form best suits Its purposes, usually that of a human male. However, as an entity that's mere existence defies the laws of the mortal realm, its true form cannot be perceived safely by mortals. It spent Its exile as a nomad wandering the world, not involving Itself in human affairs unless It felt it necessary, offering Its power or knowledge in a form reminiscent of a contract. As a spirit, Balagael is non-binary (not identifying as either gender) and was initially aromantic (uninterested in romance). However, after spending so much time among humans, they eventually rubbed off on It, causing It to eventually fall in love for the first time and sire a son named Bal. Balagael continued Its nomadic ways and contracted Its knowledge and power to others when necessary, but always watched over Its family from afar. It eventually came across another hybrid spirit like Itself known as Argalos, but on the opposite spectrum. Argalos was a former Dark Spirit that grew tired of it's deeds and rebelled, banished to Earth in the process. After It was banished, however, It became a demon ascended halfway back into angelhood (half ascended demon, Half angel).  After traveling together the two decided to try something new: they merged together and became Argael, the first pure, balanced nephalem with the cunning, charisma and violence of demons and the beauty, righteousness and grace of angels. Like the beings used to create it, Argael can take on any form it wishes, but Its true form cannot be perceived safely by those of the mortal plane. However, It likes to take on a male form with a long, prehensile tail; four feathered, bat-like wings, two white and two black; horns shaped like a halo that glows; sharp teeth; and a toned musculature. It dwelled in a pocket dimension that was Its personal domain, leaving when a contract was forged. Then It heard of a human, known as Sara, who saved Junior from an assassination attempt at the cost of her life. As a token of gratitude, it saved Sara from the brink of death by merging with her, turning her into a superior mystic female alpha human/angel/demon hybrid, granting her Its knowledge, power and domain, but as a side effect gave her an unnatural presence as well as the ability to manifest Argael's wings from her back out of divine-demonic power, two of light on one side and two of darkness on the other. These wings have six digits each, five from the 'hands' and one from the elbows. Combined with the feathers, they each give the appearance of six wings in one. The wings also have a multitude of eyes that shoot beams of energy. Before merging with Argael, Sara was a powerful mage and technopath, as well as being a bisexual good bad girl diagnosed with high-functioning Asperger syndrome making her a genius and ADHD. This made her a hyperactive, eccentric genius with a short attention span. She still possessed those qualities after, but chose to ally herself with Junior against Satan while learning to master her newfound abilities. Being skilled with technology and magic, Sara learned how to combine them with her nephalem powers to create angelic-demonic technomagic. She also received combat training from Catherine to make full use of his abilities, and taught Aby, who quickly proved to be a prodigy, looked up to Sara as her mentor and quickly struck out on her own. The two left Junior and Catherine and went their separate ways, but kept in touch while serving God in their own way. Sara would become a high end mercenary and supernatural huntress, using her abilities to defend humanity against the forces of darkness. Balagael, Argalos, and Argael are minor characters in Agents of God while Sara is the tritagonist.
